Walking – we have something for everyone, including walks from the door. We keep a good collection of maps and walks

Cycling - you can either bring your own bike (we can lock it in our garage) or hire bikes. If you are not a regular cyclist, or have young children with you, the Monsal Trail (an old railway line through some spectacular countryside is ideal (hire bikes at Hassop station) Our grandchildren love this ride. Queens Park (15 minute drive - playgrounds and leisure centre including swimming pools)

Holmebrook Valley Park (5 minute drive -walks, ponds, several playgrounds and cycle tracks)

GRAVES PARK (30 minutes drive, small rare breeds farm, playground, cafe, loads of space to play and much more)
